A CHAMPIONSHIP INVESTMENT
The mission of Hawk Nation is to enrich the relationship between student-athletes and those that support athletics. Having made a commitment to developing our student-athletes both on and off the playing field, this organization allows Shorter to build and maintain a high level of excellence of which current, past, and future Hawks can be proud.
Hawk Nation is comprised of five different clubs, allowing individuals the opportunity to give directly to the athletic program of his/her choice. All monetary support will directly benefit each designated club.
The Blue & White Club
This club is comprised of 14 highly competitive athletic teams at Shorter. Giving to this club directly impacts multiple programs, as a portion of each dollar will be distributed to all athletic organizations. Teams supported by the Blue & White Club include: softball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, men's and women's cross country, women's volleyball, men's and women's track & field, and cheerleading.
The Gridiron Club
Founded in 2005, this football booster club has worked diligently to financially ensure that the athletes are taken care of on and off the field.
The Roundball Club
The formation of the Shorter Hawks Roundball Club took place in 2007, providing the men's basketball program the opportunity to flourish at a competitive level.
The 6th Player Club
The vision of head women's basketball coach Vic Mitchell, the 6th Player Club was created in 2007 and has become a vital part of the Lady Hawks basketball program.
The Bullpen Club
Founded in 2008, the Bullpen Club has become a first class support system for Hawks Baseball. For more information on the Bullpen Club, download this brochure.

FOLLOWING HAWK NATION
Young alumni, joining Hawk Nation is easier than ever. Upon graduation from Shorter, you will have the opportunity to join any club at any circle for half price! This discount is valid for the first five years post graduation. Please make sure you include your graduation year on your membership application.

There is no greater benefit than knowing that you are providing a student-athlete with the resources to receive a quality college education while pursuing their athletic dreams. Additionally, Hawk Nation and Athletic Development have created a tangible benefit structure for members who give to a specific club at a specific level. These benefits can be seen as giving incentives, but as the Shorter family, our hope is that each member will give willingly in support of the overall mission of Hawk Nation. Bi-Weekly Newsletter
Follow the Flock is an electronic newsletter that will feature up-to-date information about Shorter Athletics as well as important upcoming events at Shorter.
Window Decal
All members of Hawk Nation will receive a window decal to proudly display on their vehicle.
Adopt-a-Player
Each member of Hawk Nation will receive information on a Shorter student-athlete to follow if they choose during their athletic career.
Rally Towel
An essential to creating fan participation.
Recognition in Athletic Programs
No matter which club you support, your name and giving level will be denoted in all Shorter athletic programs for the entire academic year.
Membership Plaque
Depending on the specific club you support, your name and giving level will be displayed on a membership plaque for all to see.
Autographed Team Ball
Your choice of athletic program.
Hospitality Tent
During all home football games, the hospitality tent will open 30 minutes before kickoff and remain open through the end of the third quarter. The tent is located on the field at Barron Stadium, home of Shorter Hawks Football. Hospitality pass required for admission.
Banquet/Fundraiser
This benefit allows you one table of eight (8) for ANY banquet or fundraiser for one athletic team per academic year.
Reserved Seating at Sporting Venues
There will be reserved seating at home football and basketball games for this membership level. This area is a ticketed section and is monitored.
Athletic Director's Gift
Each year, the Shorter College Athletic Director will give a one of a kind gift.
Reserved Parking at Athletic Venues
There will be reserved parking at home football and basketball games for this giving level. This area is monitored and will require a parking pass be visible at all times.
Sky Suite
This benefit gives you access to the Sky Suite at Barron Stadium for ONE home football game. Includes four (4) tickets. Based on first come, first served.
Coaches' Lunch
Your choice of lunch with any of the Shorter coaches. Date is based upon availability.
Away Game Trip
You choose which athletic program you would like to follow. A designated game has been assigned to each program. Shorter is responsible for your tickets and hospitality at the game. Travel and hotel arrangements are not included. Postseason not included.
