The Shorter College Sports Information Department welcomes your interest in Hawks and Lady Hawks athletics and we will make every effort to facilitate your coverage of our programs. The sports information office maintains information on all current student-athletes and coaches, as well as historical information on previous athletes, teams and staff members. If you need information about Shorter athletics or credentials, please call Sports Information Director (SID).
Interviews
All athlete and coach interviews must be arranged through the sports information office by calling or e-mailing the SID at least 24 hours in advance. The sports information office will arrange an interview time that is mutually convenient for both the player/coach and the media representative. Players' home and cell phone numbers will not be given out.
Media Guides and Rosters
The Shorter College Sports Information Office will provide rosters, media guides and updated statistics for all home contests. Up-to-date rosters can also be found here at goshorterhawks.com. Photographs are allowed at all home contests, but must stay in specified areas. Photographs at away events are up to the discretion of the other facilities.
All athletic publications are designed, written and edited by the Shorter College Sports Information office. Media Guides are now published for football, men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, track and field, baseball and softball. Physical copies can be ordered through the Sports Information office, while supplies last.
Radio
All football games, all home basketball games (and select road games), and select baseball and softball games are broadcast live on WATG The Ridge 95.7 FM. Keep up with the Hawks' season with Jim Bojo and Randy Bowen, Voices of the Hawks and Lady Hawks. For internet broadcast, click here.
