Mt. Vernon, Ga. - The Shorter College Hawks baseball team fell to Brewton-Parker twice in the doubleheader finale of their weekend SSAC series in Mt. Vernon.

The Barons (13-16, 4-9) won Saturday's first game 5-3 before edging out the Hawks 2-1 in the nightcap.

Shorter (10-20, 3-12) hosts Tennessee Wesleyan in a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
