Rome, Ga. - In the Southern States Athletic Conference's year-end awards, nine Shorter College Hawks baseball players received recognition as All-Academic. To be eligible for this honor, you must be a varsity team member with a 3.25 GPA.

The Hawks named All-Academic were Dustin Bowers, Jake Broome, Ben Erichsen, David Hornback, Jarrod Lewis, Trevor Miller, Scott Morris, Ryan Murphy, and Garrett Raiden.

"It says a lot when you can balance the full-time schedule of baseball, and still maintain high standings academically," said head coach Matt Larry. "I'm proud of these guys and the caliber they hold the team to."
