Charles Warner will serve as assistant coach for the Hawks in the 2007-08 season. Charles is the father of Head Coach Chad. He is a retired insurance agent (owner of Charles Warner Insurance Agency) and a fourth generation Roman. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in marketing, and he also attended Shorter for a semester in 1967. His mother (Chad's grandmother) is a 1934 graduate of Shorter. "I can think of no greater blessing, as I try to lead a group of young men, than to do it along side the man who has always lead me. I am so grateful to have `Coach Pop' working with this school and program. He brings so much to our team with his heart and wisdom for life. Dad is awesome!" |
