Waleska, Ga. - The Shorter College Hawks fell to a tough-shooting Reinhardt College Eagles team on Thursday night, 76-69.

The Hawks held a 35-34 lead at the half, but could not overcome a cold touch from the floor as Shorter hit a cool 29 percent of its shots in the final 20 minutes. Reinhardt shot 27-for-61, and out-rebounded the Hawks 48-36.

Fred Christopher led Shorter (18-10, 9-8) with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Kedric Wilson added 19 points.

The Hawks close out the regular season Saturday visiting No. 2 Lee in an 8 p.m. tip-off.
