Rome, Ga. - Xavier Blain-Cruz led Savannah College of Art and Design men's basketball players in double figures as the Bees had a 67-57 victory over Shorter College Saturday (Nov. 24) afternoon at the Winthrop-King Centre.

SCAD scored the final nine points of the first half, including a three-pointer by Brandon Chambers from the top of the key at the buzzer, to take a 37-28 lead into the locker room.

Jamie Walker and Kedric Wilson were the lone players to reach double figures, connecting for 14 and 12 points, respectively.

The Hawks now turn their attention to a pair of rugged road tests this week, visiting Faulkner on Tuesday and Auburn-Montgomery next Saturday.
