Feature: Athletic interns launch Shorter College into cyberspace
Rome, Ga. - The many Shorter College teams, athletes and coaches are committed to spreading the word about the program's positive actions on and off the field. Now, however, the Hawks have taken to "tweeting" in the ever-growing technology of social networking thanks to the assistance of a pair of summer interns. Shorter's athletic program is now a part of Twitter, a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read each other's updates - known as tweets - in real time. Walker named NAIA Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete
