The Shorter Youth Football Camp is going to be a camp that emphasizes teaching and learning the basic fundamentals of football. Every camper that comes to the camp will have the opportunity to be introduced to every position on the field. They will go through every position on offense and defense. The importance of this is due to the fact that they are still developing and should not be grouped to a certain position. The campers will be divided by age groups to ensure that they get the proper number of drill periods with individual instruction. One cannot have a teaching/learning camp without discipline, and that means on and off the football field. This is a camp for youngsters who are serious about becoming a better football player; those who want to be away from home or a baby-sitting service will probably be disappointed. Campers will be supervised at all times and improper behavior will result in disciplinary action, and if a problem persists, the camper may be asked to stay home.
