Cooley rushed for a school-record 254 yards and four touchdowns to lead Shorter to a wild 55-42 victory over host Belhaven College in Mid-South West Division football action on Saturday afternoon in Jackson, Miss. Cooley's performance bested his 249-yard, four TD effort in a win over NCAA Division II North Greenville last season, and leaves him with 3,992 career rushing yards, just eight away from 4,000. His four scores give him 17 rushing touchdowns on the year, four shy of his school-record 21 TD campaign in 2008.
