![]() Men's soccer advances to SSAC semis with 6-0 shut out of Brewton-Parker Rome, Ga. - Sebastian Stihler scored two goals and four other Hawks reached the score book as third-seeded Shorter College blanked No. 6 seed Brewton-Parker College, 6-0, at Ben Brady Field in the quarterfinal round of the Southern States Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament. Shorter (12-5-2), which is now unbeaten in its last five matches, moves on to face second-seeded and national No. 16 Auburn University-Montgomery, a 1-0 winner over seventh-seeded Emmanuel College, in the SSAC semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 10 in Montgomery, Ala. The Hawks dropped a tough, 2-1 decision to the Senators on Oct. 18, yielding three penalty kicks - two of which were converted - in that affair. Shorter (11-5-2, 5-2 SSAC) will host sixth-seeded Brewton-Parker College on Friday, Nov. 6 at Ben Brady Field at 5 p.m. in the first round of the SSAC Tournament.
