Knoxville, Tenn. - In the Shorter College men's track visit to the Sea Ray Relays hosted by the University of Tennessee, Martin Hernandez qualified for the NAIA National Championship in the 10,000 meter run. The meet was a non-scoring meet, as team scores were not given.

Hernandez finished 8th in the highly-competitive meet, running the 10k with a time of 31:45.10.

Both the men's and women's team will travel next to Athens, for the Bulldog Limited, hosted by the University of Georgia.
