Hawk harriers place 18th in NAIA Nationals
Vancouver, Wash. - Shorter College head men's cross country coach Jay Stephenson knew he had a talented, albeit young, group heading to Vancouver, Wash., to compete in the 2009 NAIA Cross Country National Championships. Paced by freshman Eliud Ng'etich's 32nd-place finish in a time of 25:59, Shorter's Hawk harriers secured an 18th-place team ranking at the season-ending event held on the 8k course at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.
