Calera, Ala. - Shorter's women's golf team had an impressive showing on Tuesday in the Ann Rhodes BCS Shootout in Calera, Ala., with Daniela Vargas taking the individual championship for the tournament, shooting a 72 in the second round for a two-day total of 148.

The Lady Hawks placed seventh with a two-day score of 650. For Shorter, Johanna Babra shot a second-day 79, Cristy Pak had an 82 and Ahmreen Humayun and Meredith Cook shot an 87 and 92, respectively.

Samford was the winning school with a 635.

Shorter will play in the SCAD Invitational Monday and Tuesday in Savannah, Ga.
