Lady Hawks golf jump to first in second day of Jekyll Invitational

Jekyll Island, Ga. - The Shorter College Lady Hawks golf team shot a two-day total of 637, to head into the final round of the Jekyll Island Invitational in first place, one shot ahead of Berry College's 638 and 16 shots ahead of The University of St. Thomas. Daniela Vargas leads Shorter with a two-day 152, one shot out of first.

Johanna Babra is in second for Shorter, shooting a 158, while Ahmreen Humayun and Meredith Cook are both tied for 22nd overall, with two-day totals of 165 each. Cristy Pak rounds things out for the Lady Hawks with a 168.

The Jekyll Island Invitational is hosted by Oglethorpe University and will finish its final round today.
