Jekyll Island, Ga. - The Lady Hawks golf team took second place in the Jekyll Island Invitational on Sunday evening, shooting a last day 321, finishing with a three-day total of 966. DAniela Vargas led Shorter and finished second overall with a total 15 over par.

Johanna Babra finished seventh overall with a three-day 238, and was followed by Ahmreen Humayun with a 251, Cristy Pak with a 252 and Meredith Cook with a 255. Berry College finished first in the Invitational with a 959.

Shorter will play in the Region XIII Championship in Fort Gaines, Ga., on April 27-29.
