Greeneville, Tenn. - In the first round of the Agnes McAmis Memorial golf tournament hosted by Tusculum College, the Shorter College Lady Hawks are in third place in the 13 team field. Shorter's DAniela Vargas is currently first on the leader board shooting a first day total of 69.

Following Vargas is Cristy Pak, tied for 29th shooting 82, and Johanna Babra, tied for 40th shooting an 86. Rounding out things for Shorter is Ahmreen Humayun and Ashley Trenz, shooting an 86 and 89.

Belmont Abbey College is currently in first with a first-day total of 299, 24 shots ahead of Shorter's 323. The tournament concludes tomorrow.
