Morrow, Ga. - Paced by senior forward Olaitan Yusuf, Clayton State earned its second straight victory by knocking off Shorter.

Yusuf scored twice and had an assist for Clayton State (6-3-1), which broke open a 1-1 tie by outscoring Shorter 3-0 over the final 65 minutes.

Shorter (5-6) forged the 1-1 tie in the 25th minute on a direct kick score by Pauline Van Der Henst, but the Lakers scored just two minutes later to take the lead for good.

Corrie McIravey-Davidsion recorded seven saves for Shorter.
