Rome, Ga. - Two Shorter College Lady Hawks soccer players were named All-Conference Second Team and six were named All-Academic in the postseason awards released by the Southern States Athletic Conference.

Defender Bonnie McNulty and forward Pauline Van Der Henst made this year's all-conference list. McNulty, a senior from Ringgold, Ga., and one of this year's captains, played in all 15 of Shorter's game this season and has been a key defender for the past four years. Van Der Henst, a junior from Lille, France, scored four goals and four assists this season. She was named to last year's conference and region teams.

The six named to the All-Academic team were Mallory Barnes, Renee Glenfield, Sarah Locklear, McNulty, Anna Payton and Danila Szabo.
