The first games will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009, with the opening round games at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., & 4 p.m. For all-tournament stats and standings, click on 'Live Stats' anywhere below (when it becomes available). Tournament tickets are available at the gate for $5 per day or $12 for a tournament pass. Student tickets are $3 per day or $7 for the tournament. There will be no complimentary tickets or pass lists provided. NAIA membership cards, of course, will be honored at the door.
Shirts will be available throughout the tournament for $10. The cover to the Softball Tournament Program can be seen at top. The program, featuring school rosters, quick facts, conference leaders, and the bracket will be available for purchase at the complex.
Directions to Alto Park Softball Complex (click for photos and information):
From Chattanooga: 1) Take I-75 South to exit 312 (Rome/Fairmount.) 2) Take right at top of exit ramp; remain on Hwy. 53 to Rome. 3) Once in Rome City Limits, take a right at traffic light (Calvary Baptist Church) onto Veterans Memorial Highway. 4) At the third traffic light, take a left onto Highway 27 South. 5) At the sixth traffic light (Bojangles on left) take a right onto Georgia Hwy. 20. 6) Stay on Hwy. 20; at the seventh traffic light (Marty Callahan State Farm on right) take a left onto Burnett Ferry Road. 7) Alto Park is on the right 3-4 miles after you turn off of Hwy. 20. From Atlanta: 1) Take I-75 North, exit 290: Rome/Canton. 2) Turn left at bottom of ramp and continue until highway dead ends at traffic light. 3) Turn left, then immediate right onto Hwy. 41 North. 4) Continue on Hwy. 41 approximately 3 miles, take right fork on 411 South: Rome. 19 miles to Rome. 5) After third traffic light (Rome Ford on right) take the second exit to the right -- Rome/Georgia Hwy. 20. 6) Continue on Hwy. 20 for several miles. At the fifteenth traffic light, take a left onto Burnett Ferry Road. Alto Park is on the right, 3-4 miles after you turn off of Hwy. 20. Restaurant Information - Rome, GA
