 Softball fall tourney at Jacksonville St. cancelled Oxford, Ala. - Inclement weather forced the cancellation of Shorter College's final fall tournament of the 2009-2010 season. The Lady Hawks were scheduled to compete in three games as part of the Jacksonville State Tera Ross Memorial Fall Tournament in Oxford, Ala. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Shorter would have played a trio of contests against Jeff State Community College, Calhoun Community College and Alabama A&M. It is a disease that has most likely affected or will affect our lives in one way or another - either through a personal experience or through a family member or friend.
