Rome, Ga. - In the Mid-South Conference's end-of-season awards, six members of the Shorter College track and field team received All-Academic honors. To be eligible for this award, you must have a yearly GPA of 3.25 or better.

"It is real special when you not only have so many All-Conference team members, but also All-Academic honors," said head coach Scott Byrd. "We constantly stress how important academic are and I am proud of all of those honored."

The student-athletes that received the honors were Remy Charpentier, Curtis John, Allen O'Neal, Caitlin Brush, Julie Murphy and Marc Burgess.
