Jon Moseley is entering his fourth year as head coach of the Lady Hawk volleyball team. In his three years at the helm, Moseley has brought tremendous success to the young volleyball program, including a Southern States Athletic Conference championship in 2007, just his second season as head coach.

In his first season in 2006, Moseley guided the Lady Hawks to a 22-8 record, the best mark in the program's history. For his efforts, Moseley was named SSAC Coach of the Year at the conclusion of the season.

In 2007, Moseley's fifth-seeded Lady Hawks captured the program's first-ever SSAC Tournament title and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament.

Moseley has compiled a 63-40 record during his tenure on the Hill.

Before coming to Shorter, Moseley was the head volleyball coach at Guntersville High School in Guntersville, Ala. where he coached back-to-back 4-A Alabama State Championship teams in 2004 and 2005.

Prior to his time in Guntersville, he served as head coach at Cherokee County High School in Centre, Ala. where his teams advanced to the Elite Eight six times, including Final Four appearances in 1998 and 2003.

He led Cherokee to state championships in 1999, 2001 and 2002. Moseley was named the Gadsden Times Coach of the Year in 2002 and 2005, and the Marshall County Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2005.

Moseley has won over 500 matches in his coaching career.

Moseley graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in Latin American Studies.

During college, he was involved with the Vanderbilt Volleyball Club team, worked as a student athletic trainer, and was involved with BCM and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Moseley went on to earn his Master of Education degree in Secondary Education from Vanderbilt in 1998.
