Mt. Berry, Ga. - The Shorter College Lady Hawks volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to St. Thomas on Saturday morning in the Berry Invitational. Shorter's win came in the third game, as they took the 25-19 victory.

The Lady Hawks (0-9, 0-3) lost the first game 25-17, the second game 25-21 and the third game a close 25-23. Maggie Parker led the team in kills with 12, and has a 33.3% hitting percentage. Kristy Walker continued to up her assists numbers with 29, and Loni Beth Jones had 13 digs. Kayla Rollins followed up with 12 digs.

Shorter plays their last match of the invitational today at 1 p.m. as they play region-foe Spring Hill College.
