Rome, Ga. - At Shorter, the Lady Hawks improved their record to 7-8 overall and 2-2 in the SSAC after winning 30-19, 26-30, 30-21 and 33-31.

Kate Puckett had 13 kills and six blocks to lead the Lady Hawks, while Kasi Runion had 10 kills and six blocks and Maggie Parker added 12 kills.

Kristy Walker had 41 assists, Kayla Rollins added 24 digs, and Jenny Mealer chipped in 10 kills.

Shorter hosts Faulkner at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
