Mobile, Ala. - The Shorter College Lady Hawks volleyball team (21-14, 7-5) lost their two matches of the Region XIII tournament on Friday, as they fail to the Berry College Lady Vikings, 3-0, in an 11:30 match, followed by a loss to number one seed Mobile, 3-0.

After a close first game against Berry, 30-28, Shorter lost the following games, 30-19 and 30-22. In the Mobile games, the Hawks lost 30-17, 30-25 and 30-24 to be eliminated from Saturday's competition.

The Lady Hawks however end their season on an exceptional note, by claiming the title in the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship.
