The win handed Shorter its school-record 25th win of the season and also eased the sting of a tough, 3-2 loss at the hands of the Golden Tigers earlier in the year at the Winthrop-King Centre. Shorter senior Kasi Runion did not play in that first meeting, but made her presence felt on Saturday with 13 kills and seven blocks to pace the Lady Hawks (25-8, 9-3 SSAC).
