Berry, Ga. - The Shorter College women's cross country team took third place at the Region XIII meet this morning at Berry College, with Magrina Chepkoech leading the team with a second place overall finish. Beating out eight other teams in the region, the Shorter Lady Hawks ran the 5k course with a total of 97 points, with only Lee University (40 points) and Berry College (61 points) ahead. Chepkoech ran a 19:08.64 and was followed by teammates Amy Worthy (8th - 20:26.68), Julie Frayre (16th - 20:52.56), Kaitlin Shaw (20th - 20:06.39), Dawn Siddons (46th - 22:33.96), Courtney Pike (53rd - 23:08.05), and Allison Holmes (69th - 25:16.24).
